DRIVENby teamwork.
Embracing new challenges every day.

Hubert Flores loves interacting with people. In his role as account manager in sales and marketing at Jetco, he gets that chance everyday as he meets with customers to discuss their ongoing shipping and transportation needs.
“I like the challenge of this job,” Flores said. “I love interacting with folks. It seems that most of the time, when I walk into a customer’s office, I get a hug not a handshake. I don’t just sit down and talk business with them. I want to know how our customers are really doing. I care about them personally. In my opinion, when you get to know a person rather than just going in to do a sale, it’s so much more enjoyable because you’re building a long-term relationship.”
Flores has spent more than 20 years in the trucking, working as a driver, in customer service and dispatch. He still holds a commercial driver’s license with a hazmat certification and he believes that gives him an advantage when he meets with customers.
“I can drive up to a facility, take one look at the freight in the yard and know how we can help a customer,” said Flores, who is a Texas native and has lived in Houston for nearly 40 years. “Coming up with a solution for customers is invaluable.”
When he’s not meeting with customers or at Jetco’s offices, Flores loves to spend time with his wife and three children.
“We like to barbecue and just spend lots of family time together,” he said.
