Success Stories
Long Haul in Port of Milwaukee, WI
IN AUGUST 2007, four European vessels arrived at the Port of Milwaukee with 110 miles of 36" OD diameter pipe. Jetco Logistics was asked to manage the delivery of the pipe from the Port to a yard 50 miles away. Jetco placed key operational personnel onsite and lined up over 60 trucks to transport the pipe. After over thousand four-hundred successful loads, the first direct discharge project in the Port of Milwaukee's history was a success.
Dedicated Direct Partnership
A JETCO CLIENT was shipping high-end home products through several LTL carriers. The client was experiencing delays and product damage. By partnering with this company, Jetco built "dedicated direct" routes. The client now loads Jetco trailers with products that is destined for several cities. With Jetco's Dedicated Direct Service, the client has shortened delivery times and eliminated product breakage. In addition, that client has built tremendous goodwill with their own customers. Mission accomplished!
Project Management Expertise in Texas City, TX
A CLIENT REQUESTED Jetco Delivery to haul 120 containers from Texas City to the Port of Houston in an extremely brief time frame. More than a trucking project, this required project management expertise. Jetco placed on-site personnel in Texas City to work closely with the client. Jetco ensured that the steamship line had enough containers for the project, plus worked with the Port to extend hours. Jetco Delivery met every deadline with diligence—allowing our client to rest easy.
