As Jetco’s warehouse and yard manager, Anthony handles the incoming and outgoing of our trucks, our customers’ freight storage, and all inventory. His role is to ensure our drivers leave the yard in safe, well-maintained trucks and that our customers’ freight is properly stored and handled. In addition, Anthony is a member of Jetco’s Driver Committee (DC). All DC members are elected by their peers to serve as the voice of our drivers and attend all managerial meetings. We sat down with Anthony to find out more about what he does and what he loves so much about Jetco.
How long have you worked at Jetco? 8 years
What does your role involve? When it comes to managing the yard, I handle everything from gate checks to operations and storage, overseeing the shipping and receiving of our customers’ storage items and inventory.
What’s your favorite part about working at Jetco? Jetco fosters a team-player environment. We support one another and are not restricted by departments – we’re all working toward the same goal: to provide our customers with peace of mind.
If you were stranded on an island, what 3 things would you want to have with you? A lighter, knife and asprin.
What do you have playing on your car radio? I listen to a lot of R&B and rap.
You are our go-to driver for hauling the Texans’ gear to away games. What’s the best part? The pleasure and honor of helping the Texans organization and being a representative and ambassador for Jetco while servicing the Texans.
