As Jetco’s business intelligence manager, Guillermo “Mo” is the go-to guy for anything from our operating software to TransPortal. Leading the way in our recent TransPortal upgrades, Mo shares what it means to him to be part of the Jetco team—and how much he loves college football.
How long have you been with Jetco?
Almost 2 years.
What does D2P mean to you?
To me, D2P is more than just a slogan; it’s more than “Driving to Perfection.” D2P is our culture—it’s rooted in everything we do, from safety to accounting and anything in between. D2P is also about implementing the most cutting-edge technology so that our drivers are more productive. I'm excited about the upgrades we've made to TransPortal, as I know they will save our customers time and create transparency. That's D2P. It’s the constant chase of perfection that allows organizations to attain excellence and makes me want to the best version of myself every day and provide the best services I can.
What do you like to do when you’re not at Jetco?
I have multiple hobbies: playing guitar; playing golf, playing video games; watching football (Florida State University, Saints, Texans fan); watching international soccer (Real Madrid, Chelsea FC); finding new music (especially classic rock or classic rock-style bands or blues). And, I really enjoy reading about sciences (physics, math, stats) and learning new things and skills.
What’s your favorite sport to watch?
Football—specifically college football—Florida State Football! Go Noles!
Where were you born and raised?
I was born in New Orleans, but moved to Guatemala City when I was 5 years old.
What does the future look like for you?
I intend to pursue a Master’s Degree in Financial Analysis as well as a Master’s Degree in Statistics and Data Analytics.
